The most blatantly racist comedian I have ever seen

Oh look a comedian, who was on national television. So i was watching comedy central stand up and this guy Eric Andre went on stage on the show “stand up at the El Ray”. Well most of the comedians were horrible on that show so i figured it couldn’t get any worse…. I was wrong. Well I’m half watching Eric scream not funny jokes at me, then at about 0:37 seconds (in that video^) he says this “I think it should be illegal for white writers to write parts for black actors” Woah back up hold on what did he just say? Did he just say that it should be ILLEGAL? well that’s not all he says there is some bad rant about white writers never coming in contact with a black person. Then after proclaiming that white writers only listen to a CD and think they understand black culture, Eric just goes crazy. He talks about going out for the part of ray ray the drug dealer and puts a racial spin on it. Heres the best part, after all this Eric says this “last time i checked black people the most creative and passionate culture on earth, no culture has done more with less. We read books, we work in offices and some of us are the president of the United States of America. I HAVE A DREAM.” At first i couldn’t believe anyone would actually say something like that, so i found the clip online and watched it 500 more times. Now I’m not a racist, i don’t discriminate but i just want to ask Eric what the fuck he is talking about. Imagine if Eric was white, and he went up there and talked about how white people are the most creative and passionate culture on earth. If that happened people would go fucking CRAZY. He would be labeled as a racist, pulled from t.v and ostracized from society. So why did nothing happen? I have no freakin idea why nothing happened, but all i see is one big double standard. I’m totally missing why any comedian who is not white, has made a joke at the expense of white people. Many many times I’ve watched stand up comedians make jokes about white people. Albeit I find comedians of every race funny, however when a comedian of any race starts making jokes about white people “going crazy” or such I’m immediately turned off. I cant stress enough that I’m not racist, but I’m sick of double standards and comedians like Eric can get away with stuff like this.

Oh hey tumblr its been a while…

Oh Tumblr, sometimes i feel as if you dont want anyone to post on here. Your routine “maintenance” and random points where you go down, makes it very hard to use you. Aside from your many faults i still feel compelled to use you. Now that im finished addressing you personally i’d like to move on to the issue at hand. Now im not sure if i can do this without cursing so sorry mom. I’m not sure exactly how many of you have read Michael Crichtons very famous novel Jurassic Park, or Steven Spielberg’s faithful movie adaptation. If you arent familiar with either of these two works (or both) to bad you arent going to get any of this and i dont care. Well anyway as people we tend to lean towards having meaningful relationships with members of the opposite sex (or the same, i dont discriminate). Well these relationships sometimes workout great but are almost always an uphill battle. For the purposes of this entry i will now refer to relationships as “relationshipland” aka the theme park of your dreams. Well heres the thing “relationshipland” is a lot like Isla Nublar aka Jurassic Park. When we first go to Jurassic Park it is fucking AWESOME, i mean really there are dinosaurs and what not. Living breathing dinosaurs and they are all around how freaking cool. Look over there its a T-rex thats amazing. Well everything is all well and good on Jurrasic park, until that little rat bastard Dennis Nedry decides to royally screw over everyone on the island for his own personal gain. Well see after Nedry screws you over bad things start to happen. The power goes out which mean the electric fences go down. SO now you are on the island of your dreams and everything is trying to kill you. Eventually the Dinosaurs that you loved when they where in their cages have now found you, they are killing your friends and trying to end your life. Well guess what you escape from the now horrible island that is destroyed by dinosaurs, it has killed your friends and left you more emotionally scared then when you came in. So whats the obvious answer here are you gonna go back to a new Jurrasic park for round two? HELL NO youre not, but wait why are you trying again stop the dinosaurs are gonna kill you…. Now lets transfer that logic to “relationshipland” which is strikingly similar to Jurassic Park. There are still dinosaurs and there are the same systems that keep them in check. However this time around the reason the power goes down isnt named Dennis Nedry, this time its named that thing that might screw up youre relationship. See if what ever it is has the potential to screw up your relationships by i dont know maybe letting the dinosaurs out, you better believe it will. After that little thing you never saw coming turned the power off and left you for dead, now you have to face the dinosaurs. The difference this time is that the dinosaurs are not named t-rex or raptor they are named after anything you ever did wrong. See what ever you did wrong is now out of its cage and trying to kill you. Remember that time you chose to hang out with your friends instead of her, remember that time you forgot to pick her up from the airport, well raptors are pack hunters. So all those raptors are your biggest threat right now. Don’t forget about that t-rex though its a pretty big threat to, thats a t-rex i like to call love. Its the biggest part of “relationshipland” its the main character. Yet when the power goes off the biggest part of the park turns from love to heartbreak and its trying to kill you too. The dino’s are killing all of your friends but this time they are new friendships you have made through your significant other. Well eventually you escape but you are more hurt and emotionally scarred then when you went in. So now that you’ve seen all that goes on whats the obvious choice, of course its to not go to “relationshipland” wait where are you going…

God help us.

Chances are you live on earth, and chances are you are a human being. A human who lives their life surrounded by others, a human who lives, works, and properly functions in society. They say that everyone is different, and this is true to a point. We are all “individuals” who are unique in one way or another. There is however one thing that everyone shares, your beliefs. Granted we may not share a similar set of beliefs with the person to our right, but the common ground lies in the simple fact that, the person sitting next to you has morals, ethics, and or beliefs. As people we have learned to accept the fact that people belief things, and yet we still cannot respect one another’s differing opinions on god, religion and an after life.  Like it or not if you are alive your system of beliefs falls into one of three categories religious, agnostic, and atheist. I know within each category there are many subsections and groups but for the purpose of this entry those will be the 3 groups. No matter what you believe you are inevitably going to be in contact with people who don’t believe the same thing. This wouldn’t be a problem if humans did not have a superiority complex and the need to be right all of the time. The sad truth is that we cant all just get along, people will always be at each others throats about God. Why? what is the motivation to get mad and yell about something that doesn’t effect you. If the person sitting across from you believes that God created the universe and that there is an afterlife how does that effect you. What is the worst that could come out of believing (or not believing) in god? You both live lives motivated by different beliefs but you still manage to be happy with what you believe. This urge to prove others wrong and yourself right makes no sense. What sort of gratification do you get from trying to tear down another persons beliefs. Trying to debate God vs No God is like 2 blind people having a staring contest. Ultimately one person will accuse the other of blinking but because they are both blind there will be no way to prove it. They could debate for the rest of their lives over who blinked, but no one will win. Personally I keep my beliefs to myself and when asked i respectful decline to answer. There will always be people who will say that they are better than you because of what they believe. In reality the only thing separating your two beliefs is that one word, God. It doesn’t make you better or worse than who you are sitting next to. Debating God forces one to have to defend something that doesn’t need defending. A person’s believes are theirs to believe not yours to debate.

Stalking and creeping

Here is the New Jersey state laws on the crime of stalking. I want you all to read the whole thing then tell me where you see the words FACEBOOK and NEWS FEED. I’ll give you a hint THERE NOT IN THE LAW thats because looking at someones facebook is not stalking. Stalking is a fourth and/or third degree crime. In order to be indicted on a crime of stalking one must prove that the defendant made them fear bodily harm. Last time I checked (which was like two seconds ago) you cant take someone to court for looking at your facebook profile. So I want everyone to listen up you put pictures and status updates and information on facebook for everyone to see, so dont complain that people are looking at your freaking facebook. Delete your account and go live in a cave where no one can see you if your so terrified at the notion that people look at you.

News….

The media, the news, the press, fear mongers, future seers, lying bastards, left wing, right wing. However you refer to them the people who bring us the news will always be a topic of debate. Handling the news is a huge responsibility, the news control the latest trends, what we eat, and what we know. We as Americans are fortunate to have the corrupt and biased scoundrels that run our news. Our corrupt and biased scoundrels bring us news that carry grains of truth and for that we must be thankful. Compare the American media to the North Korean propaganda machine  where it is reported that Kim Jong il invented the hamburger. In my opinion the news is a vital part of our society yet it is has been skewed by the media to be something its not. There will always be news no one can stop that but the way that the news is relayed to the public could be very different. The reasons i dont watch the news are many but one thing that gets me is the transitions. It takes a special kind of person to be able to report a family being murdered in there home and then jump to the latest human interest story regarding vegetarianism. News programs are so far away from being human it is near impossible to watch one to the end. So much of nothing is packed into these shows that a list needs to be made of what is news and what isnt. Because i am really really bored i made that list.

What is news

  • Disasters natural or man made
  • War
  • economic status
  • Political develops and elections
  • laws and bills that are being passed
  • International relations

What is not news

  • how awesome it is to be a vegetarian
  • How everything in the world gives you cancer
  • Obvious scare tactics such as 10 things that can kill you in your bathroom
  • the next big sale
  • Anything and Everything P.E.T.A does thats just giving them what they want (attention )
  • soda being bad for you, WE KNOW
  • Celebrity shenanigans, leave that crap to perez hilton
  • that being out in the sun gives you sun burn, anything along those lines

The other major problem i have with american media outlets (aside from Bill O’Reilly) is the next big thing technique. Remember swine flu, of course you remember swine flu it was going to kill everyone on earth. What happened to swine flu it just disappeared right? There will always be a next big thing something that will kill you or harm you. Right now we are in the midst of the worst man made disaster in United States history the gulf oil spill. In a few months though something bigger and badder is going to be killing us or the environment. Just like global warming remember that its what was killing us a couple years ago, this oil spill will be out of sight and out of mind. Take for example the gulf war oil spill, the largest oil spill that you’ve never heard of. Thats because after a solid run of coverage the media simply became bored with the story and moved on to other events. We will always need news it is vital to our society, but the American media is not something to which i would pledge my support.

(that list is not definitive it is my opinion, there is much more that could be considered not news and news but i forgot)
